John Mugane is the Professor of the Practice of African Languages and Cultures at Harvard University and the Director of the African Language Program. Mugane's research focuses on African Languages and Linguistics. He has directed the language program since 2003 developing the teaching of African languages and cultures, while creating the world's foremost African language program with more than twelve different languages taught each semester.
